We are pleased to announce that ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions has entered into an agreement to acquire ENKOA, a Spanish-based engineering company specializing in identification and control for the hospitality industry. ENKOA will be part of the Hospitality business area. 

Enkoa specializes in the design and development of mechatronic systems for identification and control, primarily for the hospitality industry with more than 25 years in the market. They research, develop, design, produce and sell solutions, electronic locking, parking guidance and smart sensors, as well as IoT devices specializing in low energy consumption wireless electronic communications.

Enkoa has 20 employees and is based in Spain’s Mendaro (Basque Country), where the company’s head office and R&D is located. Enkoa Systems will report within the Hospitality Iberica Business unit.
